Reenactment is hard to pull off (Low Budget Productions) but when you do it’s fantastic. I’m currently involved in creating six short documentaries about Idaho Springs early days. The first one was easy, we whittled down our feature film “IDAHOE” from 70 minutes to 6 minutes, added a new beginning and ending and cut out all the drama and comedy, the results are below.
This is a short promo video for a pilot program my wife created for Kum and Go in conjunction with Carlson Elementary and Toys for Tots. I shot this with my Z18 and edited it in Sony Vegas Pro. The snow and fairy dust were created in Blender.
This is a virtual tour of Idaho Springs, Colorado focusing on late 1800′s architecture. This was made for a website I created for the Heritage Visitor Center and Museum. I literally took a walk from my house thru central Idaho Springs with my trusty Z18.
